Most Sharjah communities plant trees after the villas go up. Masaar was planned the other way — a woodland threaded with cycling and running trails, with homes set among it rather than in front of it. Every cluster backs onto green corridors instead of car parks.
The result is a rare kind of quiet ten minutes from Sharjah's ring roads: private gardens, low-rise contemporary villas, and a canopy that's already growing in, not rendered in.
